Shahriar Piroozram
Senior Ornamental Designer
Shahriar Piroozram is Senior Ornament and calligraphy Designer at SL Rasch. He has extensive experience in the field of traditional Islamic art and holds a PhD in field of Islamic arts and crafts from the Art University of Isfahan. Over the last 25 years, he taught subjects like Islamic ornament, traditional book and paper arts or fine wood carving at various universities such as the Art University of Isfahan, the Prince’s School of Traditional Arts in London and Columbia College Chicago. Shahriar Piroozram designed, supervised and executed projects in various Islamic countries. His artworks are collected by private collectors as well as various institutions and museums such as the Newberry Library in Chicago and Malek Museum in Tehran.
